We are now presenting the original Man From UNCLE novel (called The Man From UNCLE) by Michael Avallone. This novel has been out of print since the early 60's and recounts the first adventure of super-spy Napoleon Solo. The story is very well written and not as campy as the TV show ever got. The novel concerns what appears to be a deadly plague. In a series of towns across the world, people start turning into mindless, babbling creatures and die days later. Doctors are baffled as to the cause. But, to members of UNCLE, the only answer is a new deadly biological weapon for world conquest being tested by Thrush. And they have to stop them at all costs!
